MY STORY
Where it all began
I was the head chef in my family kitchen when I was very young. My mother told me that I started preparing meals for my family when I was just seven years old 😉. In 2010 I accidentally started a home bakery in my hometown in Vietnam. I was making traditional mooncakes for my family and friends, but soon, word got out and I started getting orders!
This happened again when I moved to San Francisco in 2023. This time, my family couldn’t eat my cakes as fast as I was baking them, and my friends encouraged me to offer them for sale. I chose the name trangcakekiss as a temporary name for my instagram, but it stuck!
A little bit about me… and my cakes
I am a positive, cheerful person, and sometimes even a perfectionist. I find inspiration in nature, and natural beauty. I enjoy finding different forms of expression. Those who know me know that includes dance and of course baking. My creations carry that same energy and truly reflect who I am.
I don’t follow any specific diet or vegetarian lifestyle—my philosophy is to eat enough, eat clean, and listen to my body. That’s why my cakes are made with simple, high-quality ingredients like flour, eggs, milk, butter, and sugar. All my ingredients are organic, with no additives or preservatives. I also love exploring new ideas and recipes, and I’m excited to make gluten-free or vegan cakes soon.
I create every cake as if it were meant for myself, my family and my loved ones to enjoy. That’s why I want them to be delicious and beautiful—to bring joy and excitement to those who experience them.
